"Sometimes our best defense in survival is our ability to forget what we cannot bear to remember.""It is easy to hate the oppressor when you are the one with no liberties, but to hate who you were, what others of your kind did, took a special kind of entity."
"We were polar opposite on the outside, yet mirror images within."
I got sucked into this book quickly. It's dark and cruel in the beginning. Much like the main character the reader is put through such abuse. I cringed from the abuse. But it bonded me to the main character and the supporting characters as well. White does an excellent job of lacing clues into the story which kept me thinking there was something I wasn't seeing quite clearly yet, just as the main character wasn't. And just when I felt too abused and disparaged I was renewed. This story has everything and the MC, Erin, is so relatable and also she's stronger and more perfect than I could hope to be, which gave me someone to look up to, which is what I want from my heroines. Anyway, this is one of the most addictive novels I've read. Soooooo good!

The Supremacy eBook Megan White Reviews
ohmygosh! Sooooooo scary! The things of nightmares! I really didn't see where else this book could go but utter heartbreak and death. But alas, I was wrong. This book is simply amazing! The first half had my stomach in knots and I was so sad, but I knew, I just knew there had to be more. Oh and there was so much more! So many ohmygosh moments!! I was shouting out at the book lol, my family may think I'm crazy. I CAN'T WAIT for the next books!! Hurry Megan White!
I loved the storyline and the well developed characters! I was left wanting more much more ) It was drawn into the story right away and was left guessing what was going to happen next. One of my biggest pet peeves lately with books is when I can guess where the story is going to end up... I was completely off base with my assumptions on this one which was a pleasant surprise!
I loved that Erin wasn't your typical shrinking violet and that the Declan isn't your typical villain either. I can not wait for the next book in this series!
Great premises but execution of the story was not quite there. The way Erin trusted Declan so quickly and all the feelings they had was unrealistic. And I didn’t quite understand how they could feed on Erin when her mother was a Supreme. Wouldn’t that make them cannibalistic? Also the writing style wasn’t entirely to my liking. I was skipping the boring parts. There was a twist at the end and I liked her reaction but the author decided to end it quickly so it left me feeling blah.
This book is a bit of a change in genre for me. I have read all of the author's other books and enjoyed each of them but this book is different. Way different!
The writing is stronger, and I feel that Ms. White has hit her niche with this book.
I was immediately drawn into the book and shockingly creeped out (in a good way!) on occasion.
I don't want to give away any plot details because there are a few surprises but I can say that I am looking forward to what happens next. Twists and turns that I was not expecting....excellent start to hopefully a new series.
This was a great book! Once I started reading, I had a really hard time putting it down. And was kicking myself for not having read it sooner.
The plot was incredible and left my emotions all over the place. In a world gone bad and only one hope for survival...what would you choose?? This is the aftermath of those choices...
Megan has a wonderful writing style that keeps your interest, never a dull moment. Her characters were believable and pulled you right into their story. There were twists you didn't see coming, emotions you didn't see coming...it was just a great book to read and I recommend giving it a try!
Where do I even begin? This is a must-read. The story follows Erin, who lives in the dystopian society ruled by "The Supremacy". Our old way of life had wasted all of our resources, and when we did The Supremacy jumped in and made life better, in the beginning. Gave them food, clothes, etc - then things got bad, quick. They are a totalitarian society without a doubt. Erin is a part of "The Testers" which is a horrifying experience to say the least. "The Keepers" wear black robes which contrast the plain white clothes the commoners as they are called wear. The book reads like a movie, extremely visual, you will connect with this character and the world she lives in. I loved the dream sequences especially.
I would say more, but I can't! Buy this book! You will not regret it...It is a part of a series and I can't wait to read more of "TS" and more from this author in general. This book does not contain a cliffhanger, everything comes full-circle which I absolutely loved. Had its fair share of twists and turns which are essential to me as a reader, and as an author, I was extremely impressed!
I really enjoyed this book. It was the type of book that started out and I knew things were not quite as they seemed, but the plot twist that came halfway or so through really surprised me in a great way. The pacing was good, but the second half really pulls you in and keeps you reading. This book has so many twists in it i am trying not to give anything away.
Basically, just read it. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but I understand a sequel will be available very soon. I can't wait for that. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those series that just keeps getting better and better as the reader understands more about the state of the world.
