Eleventh Elementum A Teen Dystopian Adventure The Primortus Chronicles Book 1 edition by JL Bond Val Richards Children eBooks
The evolving world of Skylee took me and my grand daughter on a trip to a challenged and dangerous world. Each character is complex and evocative. It is a mind bender as you attempt to keep track of all the players. My grand daughter has to help me connect the dots and actions and names of all of them, but that's what she loves and it helps me keep parts of my brain that like to sleep--awake and alert. :) Fun and visual. Brinfrost is a character you will want to add to your list of dubiously sinister personages. Enjoy the ride! Bring the Lysol...there's a mysterious virus that is the focus of the destruction of the world and this wonderful novel.

Eleventh Elementum A Teen Dystopian Adventure The Primortus Chronicles Book 1 edition by JL Bond Val Richards Children eBooks Reviews
I love it when a book makes me gasp or laugh outloud, and this one did both. Now I can't wait for the next one!!
This book was stunning! The Authors really created a rich world that one can really emerge themselves in. I loved the locations in the book! Please keep this great series going!
I would highly recommend this book for anyone who loves Harry Potter or The Hunger Games series!
I'm still reading the Eleventh Elementum so I can say for sure that I totally like it, but I'm about halfway and it is really good so far. You can't really go wrong with a book that starts with the end of the world. There's no better attention grabber.
The opening scenes drew me in and the action kept me interested. It was obvious who the characters were and how they all connected to the plot. The ending made it clear that the action and characters will continue to be developed in the following books. I highly recommend it for all young adult readers who love science fiction fantasy..
While I tend to shy away from fantasy & sci-fi type stories, I enjoyed reading Eleventh Elementum. The idea of supernatural powers is appealing and I found the plot twists quite witty. Particularly funny is the notion that a “not-so-animal-loving” character finds herself turning into various stinky and somewhat distasteful creatures. I bought the book on the recommendation of a good friend and decided to buy several more as gifts for my nieces and nephews. I think folks will truly enjoy reading this book (my niece and sister did)!
This book is about a young girl receives two gifts of mysterious powers. Her friends help her learn about her new powers and what this all means for her. It was a good story, the characters were well developed in my opinion. I think the author gave a good explanation on what was happening in this book and the history of the powers of the Primortus. I have not read any books from this author before But I enjoyed this book very much! * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*
This series should appeal to teens and young adults, and I can really see it becoming another Hunger Games.
It's a group of teens with distinct personalities, sometimes funny, sometimes infuriating, who almost work together. A lot of thought was put into the plot and it develops, along with the characters. It will be interesting to see what direction this group takes in the next installment of the series.
Personally, the new society built up after the disaster was most interesting and I was surprised by what cultural icons from today's world survived into this future dystopia. The little details of this new culture and all the different places they travel is one of this book's strengths.
I can't put my finger on it, but something seemed to be missing with ending. It wasn't anti-climatic, but it wasn't as satisfying as it could have been. That may only be because it's setting up the next installment, and the authors are building up to a real, explosive finale in the third book. Once taken as a whole, the ending of this first book may click.
As I mentioned, it's a series that will appeal to teens. I've already recommended it to my pre-teen niece. Hopefully her review will pop up soon.
